I brought my 5D with my fancy lens collection on my trip to Korea. Now almost 2 weeks into it, I’ve only opened my camera twice. This niffty little camera can handle most practical situations. Very good in low light situations (thanks to IS) and very good light metering. I have been very impressed with this camera and will recommend it to anyone in the market for a point and shoot. (This is my 6th point and shoot! None other have impressed as much as this!!)
Aside from the fantastic picture quality.. few things I really like about the camera.
- the power button is small and is hard to “accidentally” press. this protects the lens when it’s in your pocket. I’ve broken several PS cameras in my pocket this way.
- very inexpensive aftermarket batteries are available.
- ability to delete images based on date range.
I’m sure there are other thoughtful features I’m failing to list here… all in all, stop reading and buy.
