I bought this camera for vacation in the Key’s and it worked wonderfully. The HD video is amazing. Definately get an 8GB card or larger class 6 or higher. I filled my 8GB class 10 extreme card in 4 days with pictures and video. Also buy a floating strap!!! It looks great and feels solid. Shot times are pretty quick. Zoom works with the video, and does not produce noise. The cover that comes with it is a nice touch, and very protective.
It does not perform well above ISO 400, below that and the pictures are very good (it’s obviously made to be used outdoors during the day). The only problem I encountered: the lense fogged a couple of times after exiting the water…It did not get wet inside so I’m not sure what could cause this. It was a minor inconvenience, but worth noting as I missed a couple of shots coming out of the water. It cleared up quickly once underwater again.
This is a great camera, and I definately recommend it.
